What is Tibetan Pulsing Yoga? (Continued)

Terminology Used to Describe Tibetan Pulsing

DragonThe full name is Tibetan Pulsing Yoga, although it is often abbreviated in conversation or writing to simply Tibetan Pulsing or even just Pulsing.

Those who do Tibetan Pulsing are called Tibetan Pulsers or Pulsers or Tibetan Pulsing practitioners. Those who attend Tibetan Pulsing groups are called Tibetan Pulsing participants or students - or they might be Tibetan Pulsing assistants or groupleaders, depending on their level of experience and their role in the group.

As Tibetan Pulsing Yoga is a yoga practice which usually involves two or more people taking up specific yoga meditation positions together, often adopting particular yoga postures while holding specific combinations of acupressure points on each other's bodies, typically one person in a pair takes the role of the "active" partner and gives a Pulsing session to the "receptive" partner, and if it is an "exchange" then the pair will then swap roles.
